These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kiln mobile application ("Kiln", "the App") operated by Wolstapp ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Kiln, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Kiln is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

The App is a fitness tracking tool only. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Information displayed in Kiln (including workout suggestions, progress metrics, and body measurement trends) is for informational purposes only.

7. Availability and Updates

We aim to keep Kiln available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We may release updates to the App from time to time. Some updates may be delivered automatically. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes.

8. Offline Functionality

Kiln is designed to work offline. Data entered while offline is stored locally on your device and will sync to our servers when connectivity is restored. We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, operating system issues, or other factors outside our control while data remains unsynced.

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the App. Account deletion:

10. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, branding, icons, and the Ember character, are the intellectual property of Wolstapp. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.

The exercise library included in Kiln is provided for your personal use within the App only.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wolstapp from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain any mandatory protections provided by the law of your country of residence.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you disagree with any changes, you should stop using the App and delete your account.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
